Lesson Plans - Week of January 20
Monday, January 20 - No School - MLK Day
Tuesday, January 21- Patterns Book - Chapter 10 notes. (see powerpoint below) Bring completed cause/effect charts and notes to class on Wednesday.
Wednesday, January 22 - Patterns Book - Read selected Ch. 10 essays and answer comprehension, purpose/audience, and style/structure questions.
Thursday, January 23 - You will get your 2nd semester agenda in English class today. After agenda pick up, students will finish Wednesday's patterns book assignment.
Friday, January 24 - No School - Cold Day

Friday, January 31 - Review Pattern's book essays and written responses and cause/effect essay assignment. Students will be allowed to use notes on a multiple choice quiz at the end of the hour.
Cause and Effect essay is due on Blackboard by midnight on Monday, February 3 and a paper copy is due in class on Tuesday, February 4.

Monday, February 10 - If you haven't uploaded your cause/effect essay to blackboard your grade for the assignment has been entered as a zero. Upload it by 11:59 pm on Tuesday or the zero will be your final grade. Late Start Monday! Begin Reading Hamlet Act II
Tuesday, February 11 - FAFSA! We will travel to a lab to meet with counselors who will assist students with the Federal Application for Financial Aid.
Wednesday, February 12 - I will be filling in for Mrs. Wilson in North House for the day. Students will watch Acts I and II of the Kenneth Branaugh version of Hamlet.

Wednesday, February 26 - Read and watch Hamlet Act III scene ii and iii.

Tuesday, March 4 - ACT Day. 12th graders report for 4,5,6 hours using a PLC Monday schedule. 4th hour meets in Room 201. We will continue watching Hamlet
Wednesday, March 5 & Thursday, March 6 - 1st hour meets in Room 215 and 2nd Hour meets in Room 219. We will read Hamlet Act IV on these two days.
